I’ve been doing Crossfit for over 3 years, but I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 10.

My passion for coaching comes from helping people realize they’re capable of more than they think-whether it’s strength, confidence, or just showing up for themselves. Watching that growth keeps me inspired.

Outside of the gym I enjoy taking my dog Murphy for walks, hiking, watching Michigan State football/basketball, and cooking.

Random fun fact about me is, I have crooked pinkies

My favorite movement is Back Squat

Position: Coach

Certifications: CFL-1, CF Weightlifting, Navy Fitness Leader

I’ve been doing Crossfit since 2010.

My passion for coaching comes from watching people succeed and learn new things. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone’s face light up when they get their first kipping pull up or nail a PR on their lift because of something I suggested they try. I also like discussing strategy with our athletes to help them work as hard as they can!

Outside of the gym you can usually find me either playing video games or reading.

Random fun fact about me: I write stories and make video games

My favorite movement is Squat cleans

Position: Personal Trainer, Coach, Oly Barbell Coach

Certifications: USAW Level 1, USAW Master’s National Champion 2024

3rd in Snatch, 4th Overall USAW Master’s World Championship 2025

I started CrossFit in 2015. It was the hardest sport I had ever done because of the variety of movements. I had never lifted a barbell in my life, but it was such a fun journey learning so many new things.

After two decades of inactivity (working full time and then raising three daughters), I want to inspire and show people that it’s truly never too late to start. Fitness is important, at any age. I love to help athletes move better and get stronger. My favorite quote as a coach is, “Your PRs are my PRs!” The community is why everyone loves it so much. Whether you are the first one to finish a workout or the last, the strongest or weakest, everyone is so encouraging.

Most of my “free” time is spent with my family, oftentimes following my daughters around to their sporting activities. I also love hanging out with friends, playing cards, boating, and playing pickleball.

Random fun fact about me is I’ve gone skydiving, have several tattoos, and have never had a cup of coffee.

As a former gymnast, I love all of the handstand movements. Since I also run the Barbell Club, I would say Snatch, OHS, and Split Jerks are definitely barbell favorites.

I’ve been doing Crossfit since 2018

Fitness should be an environment to let go, have faith in the process and learn some really important things about yourself- mentally and physically. I think that’s where serious personal change is made. I want to be part of that change for people.

Outside of the gym I run the Windy Willow Foundation which supports mental health initiatives. I also manage a financial advising practice. I guess I REALLY enjoy people & community.

Random fun fact about me: I am not entirely convinced we landed on the moon.
